Picture a stack of $100 bills 16 feet tall… that's one million dollars.
Seems damn near attainable, doesn't it?
Now, picture a pile of $100 bills 3,030 MILES tall.
That's ONE TRILLION DOLLARS.
The US debt is 9.74 trillion dollars.
That's a stack 29,512 miles high, or roughly 5,000 miles greater than the circumference of the earth.
Stuff like this boggles my mind.
