A Sound So Perfect it Cannot be Described

Tell me the truth. Anything else is simply lying. Saving me from the subject is a sin of omission, which may be worse. Telling the truth is much easier, because you never have to remember what you said. Telling me what you think I want to hear is dangerous, because neither of us is positive what that might be.

"Should I tell him I've got the clap?

Yes.

"Should I tell him he's an asshole?"

Yes.

"Should I tell him he has a nice smile?"

Yes.

"Should I tell him he just stepped in dog shit?"

Yes.

The answer will always be yes, unless you ask yourself, "Should I tell him he's a thoughful lover?"

The answer to that one is "No."

Sorry—it just sounds gay.
